    VBS COURSE OF STUDY

    At each age level the needs, interests and abilities of a child change. Our course is planned for six main age levels.

    The Beginner Course of Study

    The first Year Course of Study for Beginners is ‘GOD’S LOVE AND CARE’ from Genesis. The course is divided into three units

    Class Ⅰ

    Unit Ⅰ - God's Love

    Unit Ⅱ - God's Provision

    Unit Ⅲ - God's Protection


    The Bible Events/Truths with references and the Aims for each day is as below:

    PRIMARY I YEAR COURSE OF STUDY

    The First Year Course of Study for Primaries is “Jesus Can do All Things� from the Gospels. The Class I Course is divided into three units

    Class Ⅰ

    Unit Ⅰ - Jesus helps us

    Unit Ⅱ - Jesus can do the impossible

    Unit Ⅲ - Jesus can forgive u


    The Bible events/truths with references and the Aims for each day is as below:

    1 Jesus gives courage when we are afraid Matt. 14:22-23 Jesus walks on the water That the student will trust Jesus for protection and courage when he/she is afraid.
    2 Jesus helps when we are sick Matt. 8:5-13 Centurion’s servant is healed That the student will trust Jesus to help him when he is sick and will also help others who are sick.
    3 Jesus supplies our needs Luke 9:10-17 Five thousand are fed That the student will be grateful to Jesus for providing his/her daily needs and will be careful not to waste his/her food and share with those in need.
    4 Jesus shows how to overcome temptation Matt. 4:1-11 The Temptation of Jesus That the student will be encouraged to follow Jesus example in memorising scriptur to help him /her overcome temptation.
    Unit Ⅱ - JESUS CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE
    5 With Jesus nothing is impossible John 2:1-11 Jesus change water into wine That the student will recognise Jesus’ power to do the impossible and trust Him when things seem impossible.
    6 Gladness for sadness Luke 8:40-42 49-56, Jairus daughter is raised That the student will take his/her sadness to Jesus who can turninto joy for him/her.
    7 Jesus has power over the devil Mark 5:1-20 Demon possesses man is healed That the student will not be afraid of demons because Jesus has more power than demons.
    Unit Ⅲ - JESUS CAN FORGIVE US
    8 Repentance is necessary for for giveness (Jesus forgives when we admit our wrongs) Luke 18:9-14 Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector That the student will be truly sorry and humbly admit his/her wrongs to Jesus trusting Him for forgiveness.
    9 Cheater finds for- giveness (Jesus forgives when we do wrong things) Luke 19:1-28 Zacchaeus is forgiven That the student will realise that cheating is wrong and that he must ask Jesus to forgive him.
    10 Stubbornness needs forgiveness (Jesus forgiveness when we turn away from Stubbornness) Luke 15:11-32 The Prodigal Son That the student will realise that Stubbornness is wrong that it needs to be forgiven and will trust Jesus to forgive him.
    Class Ⅱ

    In this class children will study Psalm 23 and Psalm 1 under the following titles:
